Orit Bechar is a graduate of "Graphic Design," an extension of the Technion in Tel Aviv, and the Photography College in Kiryat Ono. She lives in Rehovot and has worked for many years as a graphic designer at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
In addition, she has presented her work for the past 15 years on the Binyamin pedestrian mall in Tel Aviv, on Tuesdays and Fridays. In the past, Orit´s photography focused on the doors, windows and peeling walls of old buildings fighting for their existence in this modern world. These subjects provided her with the photographs for two exhibitions, "Survival" and "Longings". Whenever possibile, together on a motorcycle, Orit and her husband wander in search of hidden street art in the backyards of the big cities. Through her photography, Orit is able to touch the minds of the beholder and evoke feelings of empathy with the message on the walls.
Orit feel lucky; she gets excited each time she finds new street art; as if it were her first discovery and this excitement, she passes to her customers.
And this excitement, she passes to her customers..
